Cinco is a special kind of poker tournament that is only found in Casinos. This game requires players to gather at least 8 players to play in a single table. This is a very exiting game that is growing in popularity. In Cinco the players start off by placing an initial deposit and then play a normal game of poker. At the end of the game the player with the most number of chips wins the game and the cash. This is a fast paced game usually played with 9 to 10 players at a table. In poker terms Cinco would be called Reverse Pokerlegenda. Casinos offer Cinco at various times during the day and night. It can be a good way to make some quick money although the high stakes games can be intimidating, the low stakes games are normally easier and a good place to learn.
In Cinco you must use an average of 7 to 8 players per table. This means that you will usually have a few large pots. If you want to win at Cinco you must be patient and disciplined. The game is much like a TAG (Tight Aggressive) tournament. The TAG tournament strategy is if you hold a free Cash Game and then you must go to the cash table. That is the key to being successful in Cinco. You must show patience and wait until you are able to build your chips before you play the real game.
The first thing you must do is that you must be very disciplined. Do not play in Stop or Slow motion. You must play the exact same way every time. Keep your hands steady and never fidget.
The dealer at the Cinco table must watch all the hands very carefully and if the hand changes to be five or less he must indicate it by putting a marker on the table (there are plenty places to find them). The ace is the highest card in the deck. When playing Cinco you must not go above 21 unless you are dealt a high card. You must keep in mind that unlike Hold’em you will not go bust if the cards are not strong.
Cinco uses a spade in the deck as the deuce. When it is your turn to act, you may either to put a 3 or a 2 in the 1st card, or to take back your last call. You can call off your initial stake or live on to play another hand.
Now you must put the marker you made at the card you just dealt there. This time say “card one”. Do this by saying “card one, bring it”• Say this gravely, do not tilt your shoulders or roll your eyes as you will be physically unable to do so.• Do not touch your bet.
The game is now played against the 4 dealers (4 players). Each dealer will roll one ace for himself and his third card will be placed face up on the table as the Stock/P financer. You will then have lottery in the order of cards played against you and your stake. Note, that if you win, you will be paid 2 to 1 on your winning bet. The ace in your hand in the order of playing against you has now become your kicker.
Players can bet for either 30 or 60 minutes (30 minutes each way) or until they bust. Once they are unable to make any more passes or cannot mathematically continue, then they must quit the hand. Once the last player is eliminated then the game is over. The player that remaining in the game now holds the Insurance bet.
